- January 24, 2018: The new 427 SBC engine is installed in the Vega Hatchback drag car.

- April 23, 2018: The Powerglide transmission arrives, and the chassis is certified.
- May 8, 2018: The Mark Williams driveshaft arrives, completing all components.
